RAV4 for Golgotha?
did you google it and found the advertising on Toyota car bras:

I dont really speak french, but when i put on my frenchish accent "Corolla" sounds almost the same than "golgotha" in my french accent

Speed Beetle might also come from Speed Buggy, a cartoon from the same time as the originally Scooby Doo (sorry, I'm unable to try and find images right now). The main character was the talking car, Speed Buggy. A Beetle is a kind of bug, after all.

Sorry folks - had a few RL things that took me off the forums for a bit. Didn't really have even the time to log on and fill my team's actions up either, but suprisingly only missed only a couple of days.
Bimbo Turbo 2 is the BMW Turbo, of which only two were ever made.
Speed Beetle is most likely Speed Buggy, though it breaks the going trend that all the FWan cars are based off of some real life version or counterpart.
I'm honestly still not sure about the RAV4 thing... The reason is that we're saying that it originates from a website, where websites usually use the same styling or format for only a few years. I dunno.. I'd like to side with Corolla but I can't do a French accent if my life depended on it, so.... yea.

Not trying to change the subject,but I remember when I was a kid I'd watch Wacky Races too... I'm 48 so go figure.
I've been thinking about the speed beetle, and I'm not so sure about the speed buggy idea
My thinking is that it may be the Bentley Speed 8
or the Bentley Speed 6

Well, I think I found two possible origins for the Lambada Camera V12. Suprisingly they both revolve around the same car - the Chevrolet Camaro, so I might be onto something? I don't know..
It can either be a Camaro with a V12 Lamborghini engine in it (or Lambo doors - there seems to be a lot of interest in putting those two things in this car model) OR, somthing more speculative..
or maybe it is this one
